About Me
I grew up caked in paint, pottery & permanent marker dreaming of Van Gogh's Starry Night Skies.
I've been painting for as long as I can remember.
I moved to Japan for a tennis job, and instead fell in love with art. I had my first art show, but also had personal struggles with my alopecia coming back (and all of my hair falling out.) My art is often therapeutic and redemptive.
My style is best described as fauvism "an early 20th century art movement (1904- 1908) in France that prioritised vivid, non-naturalistic colors and bold brushwork over realistic representation. Spearheaded by Henri Matisse and Andre Derian, the avant-garde style emphasized emotional expression and intuitive, spontaneous painting techniques."
Art has connected me with the most amazing people, and I'm so grateful for you.
