Achelois is especially special to me. I spotted an octopus while diving in Greece several years ago. She was the only thing I saw that day, but I was mesmerised by her movement, beauty, and grace dancing along the ocean floor. The moment I came back from that trip, I knew I had to paint her. Achelois was one of the first octopuses painted, has deep meaning to me as I battle my alopecia struggles with Achelois meaning “she who washes away the pain.” She was showcased in my first all octopus art show in Asheville, and has become one of my signature paintings. She was also the first painting I put on the leggings. As the wearable art grew, I started Chtapodi Collective and she became the face *or legs* of the brand.
Available in 8.5" x 11" or 16" x 16" on paper, or a small 10" x 10" metal reproduction. Every print is hand signed by me & each order is packed with lots of love!
