Atropos is the goddess of fate & destiny and a sister painting of Achelois.

I spotted an octopus while diving in Greece several years ago. She was the only thing I saw that day, but I was mesmerised by her movement, beauty, and grace dancing along the ocean floor. The moment I came back from that trip, I knew I had to paint her.

Achelois was one of the first octopuses painted, has deep meaning to me as I battle my alopecia struggles with Achelois meaning “she who washes away the pain.” I've loved painting sister octopuses to her over the years, the rainbow colorway, the hope, the movement, the fluidity, the beauty. She's solitary, she's intelligent, she's compelling.

Available in 5" 7" or 16" x 16". Every print is hand signed by me & each order is packed with lots of love!

One-of-a-kind art. One-of-a-kind style.

Emotional Impact

In 2015, all my hair fell out with my alopecia. For years I hid and cried and was embarrassed to be seen. 10 years later, I did the scariest thing and went to the state fair bald. I was terrified. But you know what? I ended the night feeling totally empowered. I never felt so vulnerable in my life, and I ended up having a night filled with love and support. I started putting my art on clothing to help feel more confident, live boldly, and celebrate feeling beautiful on the outside and inside. It makes me so happy that other women get to feel beautiful and confident too.
