The bull painting is one of my favorite pieces. Papaya is my favorite color, which is a focal point in the painting. The mix of pink and orange is so fresh!

Growing up, I would hear my parents tell me stories of running with the bulls during their time in Spain. I’ve always been intrigued by these stories, and the strength and power bulls convey. They have a pretty blocky body, and my goal is always to invoke movement with these animals.

I think what I love most about the painting is the colorway. The papaya with rich ochre, vibrant blues, and lush greens just sings. The bull sold to a wonderful family in Asheville! He also had a companion painting, Bear, who was washed away in Hurricane Helene. I get attached to most of my paintings: they really do feel like a bit of me and my soul on the canvas.

When they find forever homes it always fills me with joy when I know where they are living and how happy and special they make someone else’s space. I’ve been told my paintings evoke Jackson Pollock’s famous quote “Every good artist paints what he is.” You can tell my moods, my energy, and my essence behind each painting.

Available in 8" x 8" or 16" x 16". Every print is hand signed by me & each order is packed with lots of love!

Creative Essence

One-of-a-kind art. One-of-a-kind style.

Emotional Impact

In 2015, all my hair fell out with my alopecia. For years I hid and cried and was embarrassed to be seen. 10 years later, I did the scariest thing and went to the state fair bald. I was terrified. But you know what? I ended the night feeling totally empowered. I never felt so vulnerable in my life, and I ended up having a night filled with love and support. I started putting my art on clothing to help feel more confident, live boldly, and celebrate feeling beautiful on the outside and inside. It makes me so happy that other women get to feel beautiful and confident too.
